Bill founded Interragate in February
2000 to develop a commercial application of his 15 years
of research into artificial intelligence and human learning.
This started in 1985 while he was
part of an academic team working at Brunel University
and in 1986, Siemens funded the start-up of High Level
Hardware Ltd to apply this research to VLSI chip design.
From 1995 to 2000 Bill was MD of
Cynewulf Web Design where he completed high level web-based
software projects for large organisations.
In 1982 he developed one of the
first speech synthesis systems in collaboration with the
Royal National Institute for the Blind while head of Computing
and Media Dept. at the Central School of Speech and Drama
in London.
Bill also has an international reputation
in the field of psychotherapy which he has taught throughout
Europe.
